Gender & Eternal Identity (Proclamation Paragraph 2)

The Proclamation to the Family Paragraph 2 reads: "  All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose."   This week we are talking about this paragraph which gives us a glimpse of the Eternal nature of Humans.   I love the story by Elder Packer; when he told the story about his 4-year-old daughter, he said." I soon gathered a handful of little chicks for them to see and touch.       I n my Studies, in my BYU Pathway Class, we have been Studying the Eternal Family. This Class is taking an In-depth Study of  The Family: A Proclamation to the World published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  September 23, 1995.  This past two weeks, we have been studying the first paragraph, which reads.
